Juniors in East Greenbush opened in late May at 580 Columbia Turnpike, bringing a new neighborhood sports bar and grill to the Route 20 corridor.
It’s the fourth location for the popular Capital Region chain, which also has restaurants in Albany, Guilderland, and North Greenbush.

Tinder Trap: Woman Gets 10 Years For Role In NY Ambush Robberies
A New York woman will spend a decade behind bars for her role in back-to-back armed robberies orchestrated through the dating app Tinder.
Karina Carroll, 25, of Troy, was sentenced to five years in prison in Albany County Court on Monday, June 30, after pleading guilty to first-degree robbery. Her sentence will run consecutively to a previous five-year sentence doled out in Rensselaer County.
Carroll admitted to working with Terry Adams, 19, and William Camino, 20, both of Troy, to target unsuspecting men using Tinder.

Veteran Teacher Brought Loaded Gun To Shopping Mall In Region, Police Say
A teacher was arrested after allegedly bringing a loaded gun to a Capital Region shopping mall, police said.
Akili-Abdul Duncan, 53, of Albany, was taken into custody on felony weapons charges by Guilderland Police on Thursday, March 20, the agency said.
Duncan, who has taught in Albany area schools since 2006, was connected to a loaded pistol that was recovered from Crossgates Mall in 2021, according to police. The weapon was found inside Dave & Buster's, NewsChannel 13 reports.
He does not possess a New York State pistol permit, police said.

Pedestrian Hit, Killed Near Shopping Mall In Region
A man was struck and killed while walking near a Capital Region shopping mall.
The collision occurred in Guilderland, near the intersection of Western Avenue and Lawton Terrace, just yards from the Crossgates Mall, at around 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30.
Timothy Gapp was crossing the street when he was struck by a vehicle, Guilderland Police said. Gapp, of Guilderland, was taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
