Man Found With Loaded Gun After Highway Stop In Hudson Valley, Police Say A traffic stop in Westchester County led to the arrest of a 24-year-old Pennsylvania man who police say had a loaded handgun in his vehicle. Troopers stopped a car with Pennsylvania plates around 8:40 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, on I-287 in Greenburgh after it made unsafe lane changes and was found to have a tinted windshield, New York State Police said. The driver, identified as Branden Muniz of Walnutport, was the sole occupant. Curious Cockapoo Caught Under Shed Rescued By Police In Hudson Valley In Westchester, even the dogs keep police on their toes.  Officers were called out Monday, Sept. 15, to a backyard rescue in Greenburgh after a cockapoo got itself wedged under a shed while chasing another animal, according to the Town of Greenburgh Police Department. The adventurous pup apparently went all in on its hunt — only to discover there was no easy way back out. That’s when police stepped in. Working together, officers carefully freed the trapped dog and reunited it with its family, safe and sound, the department said.
