The incident happened at Syosset High School on Southwoods Road, where a 15-year-old boy drew the symbol in a male restroom, Nassau County Police said. Detectives launched an investigation and went to the teen’s home, where they found chemicals that had been combined to create explosive materials, authorities said. Investigators said they received the report on Monday, Sept. 29, from Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, located at 40 Devereux Way in the town of Red Hook, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
