The Ulster County incident happened in the town of Rosendale, off Hickory Bush Road, at around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. A man who was working for a tree company clearing the area along the Central Hudson high voltage power lines was struck by a falling limb and swept into the cavern, Rosendale Police said. Police ID Man Found Lying In Hudson Valley Roadway And Later Died Police have identified a Hudson Valley man who was found lying on a roadway and later died. Chief Kyle Berardi of the Ulster Police said on Tuesday, Dec. 31, that Frank Herbert, age 66, of Ulster, was found after officers responded to a 911 call on E. Chester Street Bypass on Saturday, Dec. 28. According to Berardi, Herbert was lying in a prone position off the side of the roadway. Woman Killed In Head-On Hudson Valley Crash With Box Truck A Massachusetts woman was killed when she collided head-on with a box truck on a Hudson Valley road, police said.  The crash occurred on Monday, Dec. 2 at around 8:30 a.m., on John Simpson Road in the Putnam County town of Southeast, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. According to authorities, a southbound Honda CRV crossed over the double yellow line and struck a northbound Isuzu box truck head-on. The crash occurred in Orange County around 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28, at the intersection of Route 52 and Route 17 in the town of Crawford. The collision occurred in Dutchess County, in the town of Wappinger, at about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, on All Angels Hill Road near Dugan Lane.  According to Capt.
