Officers responded to a residence on Yates Street near Ontario Street for reports of a domestic disturbance at around 9:40 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, Albany Police said. A 24-year-old woman is recovering after being shot during a fight in Albany early Wednesday, Aug. 13. Officers responded to the area of Albany Street near Broadway just before 12:45 a.m. for reports of gunfire, according to Albany Police. Woman With Dementia Saved From Roof In Dutchess County
Firefighters raced to a building in Dutchess County to come to the aid of a woman with dementia who was found on its roof. The incident happened on Wednesday evening, July 23, at a building on Union Avenue in Poughkeepsie, according to the city's fire department. The department's G3 Truck 3 arrived at the scene and firefighters used the bucket to bring the elderly woman down to the street to be taken to a nearby emergency room. 3 Stabbed In Hudson Valley During Fight
Police are investigating after three people were stabbed during a fight in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at Looper's Plaza, located at South Avenue and Wolcott Avenue in Beacon.
