Storms Slam Dutchess County, Leave Hundreds Without Power, Trail Of Destruction
Hundreds of residents in eastern Dutchess County remained without power Friday morning, June 12, after severe thunderstorms tore through the area, leaving behind widespread damage, downed trees, and numerous road closures.
The storms moved through the region on the evening of Thursday, June 11, causing what local officials described as pockets of severe damage across the Town of Pawling and surrounding communities.
