Suspect On Loose After Teen Stabbed In Broad Daylight In Dutchess County
Police iare searching for a suspect in connection with an altercation that left a teen stabbed in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, around 4 p.m. in the area of Main Street and South Brett Street in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, the victim, a 16-year-old, suffered a superficial wound to the leg and was treated and released from the hospital. The investigation is ongoing. Woman Critical After Stabbing, Assault On Dutchess County Street
Police are investigating and searching for a suspect after a woman was found stabbed and assaulted on a Hudson Valley street. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Monday, Sept. 30, around 7:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Main Street in Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, officers found the 35-year-old woman semi-conscious with severe facial wounds and a stab wound to the back. A juvenile was charged with allegedly making a threat of mass harm after the FBI alerted the New York State Police of a school threat made in the region on TikTok. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Wappinger. Trooper AJ Hicks said an investigation determined the "non-specific threat originated from the town of Wappinger. Investigators located and arrested the minor soon after, Hicks said. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Dutchess County Family Court. This is a developing story. A man was busted for allegedly spray painting multiple buildings with large graffiti letters in the region. Dutchess County resident Richard Bulson, age 40, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 27, for the Saturday, Sept. 21 incident on Main Street in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, an investigation identified Bulson as responsible for the alleged crimes. Dutchess County resident Victor Smith, age 66, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 26 at his Poughkeepsie home. According to Det. Sgt. A Hudson Valley man has been remanded to jail in connection with an ongoing sexual abuse investigation. Dutchess County resident Michael Tyndale, age 52, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 19, in Poughkeepsie. According to Poughkeepsie Police, Tyndale allegedly sexually abused a victim beginning at the age of 10 for four years. It happened in Dutchess County at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, on Route 44 near Traver Road in Pleasant Valley.
