Route 100 Closure Extended Amid Culvert Work: Here's New Reopening Date The months-long closure of a Route 100 stretch in Northern Westchester will last several weeks longer than expected as crews continue work on a culvert replacement, town officials said.  Somers Town Supervisor Robert Scorrano said Thursday, Jan. 8, that the new culvert on Route 100 over the Muscoot Reservoir has been installed and backfilled, marking a major milestone in the project. Traffic Alert: Tractor-Trailer Hits Overpass, Closing 3 Lanes Of Route 17 In Orange County A tractor-trailer hauling an excavator hit an overpass in Orange County and rolled over, blocking three eastbound traffic lanes on Route 17.  The incident occurred in Orange County early Tuesday, Dec. 10, in Goshen at Exit 124. Trooper Jennifer Alvarez said there are detours in place. But traffic is backed up. The lanes are expected to be closed for several hours.  This is a developing story.
