McKinley Smith, of Catskill, was found dead in Greene County’s Catskill Creek late Sunday morning, Nov. 2, after troopers from the Coxsackie barracks responded to reports of a body in the water around 11:30 a.m., New York State Police said. A 25-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on a busy Capital Region roadway. The Schenectady County crash happened just before 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, on Troy-Schenectady Road near Algonquin Road in Niskayuna, according to police. A man died after jumping from the Fire Island Lighthouse, police said. The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Robert Moses Field 5. A 911 caller reported seeing a man jump from the observation deck of the historic lighthouse, Suffolk County Police said. Police are investigating after a man jumped to his death from the parking garage used by the Boston Medical Center and Boston University Medical Campus on Wednesday morning, May 28.
