Woman Killed In Head-On Hudson Valley Crash With Box Truck
A Massachusetts woman was killed when she collided head-on with a box truck on a Hudson Valley road, police said. The crash occurred on Monday, Dec. 2 at around 8:30 a.m., on John Simpson Road in the Putnam County town of Southeast, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. According to authorities, a southbound Honda CRV crossed over the double yellow line and struck a northbound Isuzu box truck head-on. A 33-year-old woman faces criminal charges in connection with a Connecticut crash that left another driver dead, police announced. Fairfield County resident Kelsey Gallagher of Stamford turned herself in to Ridgefield Police on Thursday, Sept. 5 on an outstanding warrant regarding a crash that happened on Thursday, May 20, the Ridgefield Police Department announced on Friday, Sept. 6. Driver Injured After Car Overturns On Hudson Valley Roadway
A driver was hospitalized following a rollover crash on a busy Hudson Valley road. The crash happened in Putnam County on Monday afternoon, July 22, when an Acura flipped on Milltown Road in the village of Brewster near the Connecticut border, according to the Brewster Fire Department. Arriving first responders found the driver trapped inside the vehicle and were able to free her before taking her to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash closed Milltown Road on Monday as the scene was cleared, the department said.

A Connecticut man was killed in a New York crash after allegedly speeding in the opposite lane of traffic and striking another vehicle before hitting a tree, police announced. A Northern Westchester woman faces drunk driving charges following a Hudson Valley crash that left a 22-year-old man hospitalized with serious injuries, police said.
