Woman Saved From Jumping Off Mid-Hudson Bridge, Hospitalized In Dutchess Police officers and crisis negotiators were able to save a woman’s life after she was found standing on the Mid-Hudson Bridge railing earlier this week.  According to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, 911 dispatchers received a call around 6:34 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, reporting a person on the bridge with one leg over the rail mid-span.  Patrol officers and members of the department’s Hostage Negotiation Team quickly responded and located the woman.
