Police Save Man From Mid-Hudson Bridge, Get Him To Hospital Officers were able to rescue a distraught man from the Mid-Hudson Bridge on Monday night, Dec. 8, and get him to safety.  The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department said the incident began just after 7:45 p.m., when City 911 received a report of a suicidal man on the bridge.
