A former New York high school wrestling coach accused of repeatedly raping two students — ages 15 and 16 — has been arrested in Connecticut as a fugitive from justice, authorities said.
Reid Kappler, 32, is facing 18 charges, including rape, in Ulster County, New York. He was captured on July 14 in the Moosup section of Plainfield, Connecticut, police announced on Monday, July 28. Kappler has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

A 24-year-old man from Connecticut was captured on the Hutchinson River Parkway with help from the FBI following a carjacking investigation in the Bronx, police said.
According to the NYPD, James Hendrickson, of 110 Forest St., in Manchester, CT, was charged on Monday, July 14, at 6:45 p.m. within the confines of the 41st Precinct, after he was located on the Hutchinson River Parkway that afternoon in Westchester.
