A Connecticut mother and son are being remembered as pillars of love, strength, and generosity following a horrific double homicide.
David Thomas Cote Jr., 34, and his mother Michelle Renee Cote, 55, were killed on Thursday, March 27, by David Cote Sr. in Wolcott.
Wolcott police, who did not identify the victims, said officers were called to a. home on Boundline Road just before 6:30 p.m. on reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found three shooting victims dead on the bedroom floor: A 59-year-old father, a 55-year-old mother, and their 34-year-old son.

A Dutchess County school community is mourning the loss of 16-year-old Arlington High School student Maya Ferrell, who is now presumed deceased, according to a letter sent to families by district officials.
