A Hudson Valley father murdered his wife before jumping to his death from a bridge, orphaning their two toddlers, police said. A school employee was placed on leave after allegedly having inappropriate conversations with students at a campus in upstate New York, police said. A Capital Region mother is accused of stabbing her teenage son. Schenectady Police responded to a residence on State Street near Furnam Street for a report of a stabbing shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday, March 30. Officers located a 16-year-old boy with a non-life-threatening stab wound to his arm.
