Ford is recalling more than 355,000 trucks after discovering a defect that can cause dashboards to go completely dark, the latest in a string of costly safety issues for the US automaker.
The recall impacts about 355,656 Ford pickups, according to a notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Friday, Aug. 22. The affected trucks include the 2025 F-150 and 2025–2026 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty pickups.

Sudden Engine Failure Fuels Recall Of 443K+ Nissan Vehicles, Nhtsa Says
More than 443,000 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles are being recalled due to an engine defect that can cause sudden failure and increase crash risks.
Nissan issued the recall for about 443,899 vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The issue affects several models from 2019 through 2024, including Nissan Rogues, Nissan Altimas, Infiniti QX50s, and Infiniti QX55s.
According to the NHTSA, engine bearings inside the vehicles may have been improperly manufactured. That defect can lead to engine damage or failure, raising the risk of crashing.

More than 259,000 Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled because their brake pedals may shift out of place, increasing crash risks, officials said.
The recall impacts about 259,033 Honda and Acura vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Monday, June 16. The vehicles affected include the Acura TLX, Acura MDX, and Honda Pilot.

Nearly 295,000 Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled due to a software issue that could cause engines to lose power or stall, increasing crash risks, officials said.
