: Detainee Escapes NY State Police Barracks, Search Underway, Cops Say
New York State Police are searching for a Bronx man who fled custody from the Brewster barracks Friday afternoon, March 27, authorities said. Julio C. Sosa, 29, of the Bronx, fled from the Brewster State Police barracks at approximately 4 p.m., according to New York State Police. Sosa had been in custody for a nonviolent larceny charge at the time of his escape, police said. He was last seen wearing all black with a hot pink coat, authorities said.
