Sullivan was injured after being struck during a traffic stop on the Thruway in Bethlehem, New York State Police announced on Friday, Aug. 8. The crash happened at about 8:44 a.m. when Sullivan’s patrol vehicle was hit on the driver’s side by a 2017 Subaru Forester while she was parked on the northbound side conducting a stop, according to state police. Investigators said the Subaru’s driver swerved onto the left shoulder to avoid a tractor trailer changing lanes, over-corrected, lost control, and struck both the patrol vehicle and the stopped car. Missing 16-Year-Old Girl May Be With 'Male Companion' In Region: Police Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl from the Capital Region. Albany County resident Allene Wells, of Bethlehem, was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 25, according to the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse. Wells was wearing a green windbreaker, black sweatpants, black and white shoes, and carrying a black tote bag. She has red streaks in her hair and two nose piercings. The Albany County incident happened at around 2 a.m. Sunday, June 30, on I-87 in Bethlehem.
