3 Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into Parked Vehicles On Long Island
A driver and passenger were seriously injured, and another person was also hospitalized after an overnight Long Island crash. It happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 18 in Brentwood. Edin Quinones, age 20, of Mastic was driving a 2007 Honda Accord eastbound on Express Drive North, just east of Washington Avenue, when the car veered to the right and struck two parked vehicles, Suffolk County Police said. Drunk Driver Nabbed After Hit-Run Crash Injuring Wheatley Heights Boy In Patchogue
An allegedly drunk driver has been charged after a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a child on a Long Island roadway. It happened around 4:45 a.m. Sunday, July 21, in Patchogue. A 13-year-old boy from Wheatley Heights was riding an e-bike eastbound on East Main Street when an eastbound Audi struck him in front of 350 East Main Street and fled the scene, according to Suffolk County Police. 3 Hospitalized In Miller Place Crash Involving Ambulance
Police are investigating a Long Island crash involving an ambulance in which a person suffered serious injuries. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22 in Miller Place, according to Suffolk County Police. An ambulance with its lights and sirens activated was traveling westbound on Route 25A when an eastbound 2008 Subaru Forester, driven attempted to make a left turn onto Parkside Avenue and collided with the ambulance.
