According to Suffolk County Police, the victim was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe on Express Drive North when the vehicle veered off the road at the corner of Breeze Avenue. It hit a street sign, crossed the lawn of 4195 Express Drive North, and then collided head-on with a tree in the yard of 4191 Express Drive North. Tornado Touched Down In NY During Round Of Severe Storms: Here's When, Where A tornado touched down in New York State during a round of severe storms, the National Weather Service has announced following a survey of the damage. The tornado hit the village of West Winfield in southern Herkimer County late Saturday morning, June 22. It's about 60 miles east of Syracuse and 85 miles west of Albany.
