Alert Issued For Missing 15-Year-Old Girl From Long Island Police are investigating the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl on Long Island. Nathalie Sevilla was last seen leaving her North Lawrence residence at around 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. Relatives reported her missing the following day. Sevilla is 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black sweater. Police said she may have traveled to Baywood Avenue in Inwood. Worker Airlifted Following Accident At Long Island Industrial Business An employee was hospitalized following an accident at a Long Island industrial business. Emergency crews in Inwood were called to the Inwood Material Terminal located on Sheridan Boulevard shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. Nassau County Police said a preliminary investigation found that a 49-year-old man fell off the platform of an excavator and landed on the ground. Medics at the scene treated the victim for back trauma before he was flown to a hospital. The man was conscious and alert throughout the ordeal, police said. The accident is under investigation.

Stabbing Leads To Attempted Murder Charge For Long Island Man A man is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly stabbing a victim on Long Island. The incident happened at a residence in Inwood at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 28. Nassau County Police said officers arrived at the home and found a 34-year-old man lying on the front lawn with a sheet wrapped around his arm, which was bleeding. An investigation determined that Jose Antonio Cruz, age 50, of Inwood, got into an argument with the man earlier in the day. The altercation escalated and Cruz stabbed the man, police said.
