Long Island resident Michael McDougall, age 65, of Roosevelt, was indicted on manslaughter and related charges in Nassau County Court on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the death of his mother, McDougall. Man Admits Stabbing Wife To Death As Couple's Son Desperately Tried Saving Her In Lindenhurst A Long Island man formally confessed to stabbing his wife to death as their teenage son desperately tried to save her.  Ryszard Murawski, age 44, of Lindenhurst, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Suffolk County Court on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the death of Wioleta Murawski. The Rensselaer County mother of two was 31 years old when a friend discovered her body in a wooded area behind her Johnsonville home, located off Route 67, in June 2018.
