Woman Killed, Two Men Seriously Injured In Suffolk County House Fire: Police
A woman was killed, and two men were seriously injured in a house fire on Storz Place in Lindenhurst late Thursday, Jan. 9, Suffolk County police announced. First Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting the blaze at 9 Storz Place at 11:11 p.m., police said. Three occupants were rescued from the home by police and first responders. The woman, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Copiague Fire Department, authorities said. Bay Shore Resident Killed After House Fire Breaks Out
A resident was killed in a Long Island house fire. The blaze broke out just before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 in Bay Shore. Artemio Gonzalez, age 77, had been removed from the house by a family member, a good Samaritan and a Suffolk County PD Third Precinct officer. Gonzalez was transported to South Shore Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead, police said. 5 Hospitalized After Flames Engulf Long Island Home
Three adults and a pair of children were taken to a local hospital after a large fire broke out at a residential home. It happened in East Meadow on Tuesday, June 25, according to Nassau County Police. At approximately 3:40 p.m., police arrived at the home, which was on Arleigh Road, to see the house fully engulfed in flames.
