Man Struck, Killed By SUV Was Inspecting Car After Minor Crash On NY Thruway, Police Say A man who was involved in a minor crash on the New York Thruway was killed when he stepped out of his vehicle to inspect the damage and was struck by a 2018 Ford SUV.  Saul Clark, 55, of Paterson, New Jersey, had gotten out of his vehicle in the southbound lanes of I-87 in West Nyack when he was struck by the passing SUV driven by a Nyack woman just before 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel said. 3 Women Charged With Prostitution After Undercover Operation On Long Island Three women are facing prostitution charges after an undercover operation at a Long Island business. The investigation was conducted at SPA located in Bellmore at 2556 Merrick Road on Thursday, Sept. 5. It was determined illegal massages and prostitution were being conducted at this location, Nassau County Police said. Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives placed Jholdana Rojas, age 37, of Paterson, New Jersey, Youchun Zhang, age 49, of Bellmore, and Shaoyu Xiong, age 36, of Flushing, Queens, under arrest without incident.
