The victim, identified as Sarabraj Singh of India, was found inside a Keller Street home near North Grove Street that was fully engulfed in flames at 11:22 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, according to Nassau County Police.

Anya Slater, 20, and Thomas Belajonas, 21, of North Merrick, are facing multiple charges after allegedly robbing the Walmart at 1123 Jerusalem Avenue on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7:00 p.m., according to detectives from the First Squad.

Princeton Alum Injured In Deadly New Orleans Attack That Killed Former Teammate
Ryan Quigley, a 2020 Princeton University graduate and former classmate and coworker of Tiger Bech, was injured in the deadly New Orleans pickup truck attack early Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Quigley, a Lansdale Catholic High School graduate from the Class of 2016, was hospitalized following the attack, which claimed at least 15 lives, including Bech’s, in New Orleans’ French Quarter. Quigley and Bech both worked at Seaport Global Holdings LLC, a financial services firm in New York, and had remained close since their time at Princeton.

Sunrise Highway Fatal: 1 Killed, 2 Injured In Suffolk Co. Rollover Crash Involving Dump Truck
A motor vehicle crash on Sunrise Highway left a Shirley man dead and two others injured on Friday, Dec. 13, Suffolk County police announced.
Darrell Sumpter, 51, was driving a 2002 Cadillac westbound in the left lane of Sunrise Highway when the vehicle swerved and struck a 2021 Ford utility truck in the right lane, police said. Both vehicles left the roadway and overturned at 1:37 p.m., approximately 1.5 miles east of Horseblock Road in Shirley, according to authorities.
