29-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Fatal Stabbing During Party At Huntington Station Home
An investigation is underway after a fatal stabbing death of a man at a party overnight at a Long Island residence. It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct, 27, in Huntington Station. Police responded to the house on Lowndes Avenue after a 911caller reported the incident at the location. When officers arrived, they located two men stabbed. Human Remains Found Behind Lowe's Store In East Garden City
An investigation is underway after human remains were found behind a Long Island Lowe's store. Nassau County Police received a 911 call at around 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, reporting possible remains in the wooded area in East Garden City, in the rear of 700 Dibblee Drive, near the Meadowbrook Parkway. Upon arrival, officers noticed an abandoned encampment and discovered human remains. The Nassau County PD Homicide Squad and the Medical Examiner responded to the scene. Child Dies After Being Pulled From Swimming Pool In Bay Shore
A 7-year-old boy died after being pulled unresponsive from a swimming pool at a Long Island residence. Suffolk County Police Third Precinct officers responded to the residence on North Thompson Drive in Bay Shore just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 20, after a 911 caller reported the incident. The victim, who police identified as New York City resident Kyrie Berry of Brooklyn, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead. A man pulled from the water on Long Island died from an apparent drowning. Suffolk County Police Marine Bureau officers aboard Marine Mike responded to the Great South Bay at Fire Island National Seashore in Shirley, just west of Smith Point Bridge, at approximately 10:55 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16.
