Man Who Stabbed Wife To Death As Couple's Son Tried Saving Her In Lindenhurst Gets Decades A Long Island man who confessed to stabbing his wife to death as their teenage son desperately tried saving her will spend decades behind bars. Ryszard Murawski, age 44, of Lindenhurst, was sentenced to 22 years to life in prison in Suffolk County Court on Thursday, Oct. 17. It followed his guilty plea to second-degree murder in the death of Wioleta Murawski.
