A man has been apprehended after police say he forcibly touched a teenager and then attacked responding officers at a mall on Long Island. At around 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, Police responded to a disturbance at Broadway Mall in Hicksville after receiving reports of an intoxicated male being aggressive towards the public. A man is hospitalized with serious injuries after being attacked by a man wielding a baseball bat at a popular Long Island fishing hole. The incident happened in Riverhead, at the Lower Peconic River Fishing Access Site near West Main Street, at around 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. A man is accused of assaulting a police officer following a car crash on Long Island. The incident happened in Bellmore, near the intersection of Bellmore Avenue and Merrick Road, shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14. An admitted drug dealer was formally charged in connection with the overdose death of a 17-year-old Long Island girl. Daquan Booker, age 34, of Smithtown, was arraigned on multiple drug charges in Nassau County Court on Tuesday, Oct. 15, following the death of Garden City High School senior Grace Wrightington.
