Shooting Suspect On Run In Region Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating a shooting that left a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg that required a tourniquet for bleeding. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 11:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, on Talmadge Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. Arriving officers found the 40-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. Officers immediately placed a tourniquet on his leg, and he was transported to a hospital in the area for treatment, the City of Poughkeepsie Police said. Drug Task Force Apprehends Fentanyl Dealer In Region A drug task force nabbed an alleged fentanyl dealer following an ongoing investigation in the region. The arrest occurred in Dutchess County in Poughkeepsie on Thursday, Aug. 22. According to Det. Sgt. 4 Shot, 1 Critically, In Hudson Valley During Large, 'Disorderly,' Gathering, Police Say Four people were shot, one critically, in the region during a large, disorderly gathering. The incident occurred in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 3:30 a.m., Friday, July 5, in the area of 380 Main St. According to Det. Sgt. Terrance Beam of the Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers, encountered a large disorderly group and four people suffering from gunshot wounds.  Officers began rendering aid to the victims and secured a crime scene.
