Several people were nabbed on drunk driving charges in the Hudson Valley over the holiday weekend, including a Westchester woman rescued from a rolled-over car and a taxi driver, police said. A teenager faces a felony charge after sending threatening emails to a school in the Hudson Valley, police said. The arrest resulted from an incident on Friday, Sept. 6, when a school in Putnam County's Green Chimneys School District within the town of Patterson alerted the Putnam County Sheriff's Office of concerning emails it had received, the Sheriff's Office said on Friday, Sept. 13. Authorities and animal advocates are increasing the reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever shot an owned cat in the Hudson Valley with a pellet gun. A road in the Hudson Valley was closed for several hours after a fire truck from a Connecticut department crashed while its driver was allegedly texting, authorities said. Human Remains Found In Hudson Valley Identified As Missing 25-Year-Old Woman
This story has been updated with a photo. New York State Police have confirmed that the remains of a missing Hudson Valley woman are those found at the property of a new home construction site. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, the remains of Karen Angelillo Ramsey, age 25, were found in Putnam County in the town of Patterson on April 16 during excavation work at the property of a new home.
