22-Year-Old Stabbed In Capital Region; Search Underway For Suspect Police are investigating a stabbing in the region that sent a man to the hospital. The attack happened in Albany, near the intersection of Quail and West streets, shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. Albany Police said officers found a 22-year-old man who had been stabbed in his back. The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No suspects had been arrested as of Monday, Aug. 5. Police did not say whether the victim knew his attacker or speculate on a possible motive. 3 Stabbed In Hudson Valley During Fight Police are investigating after three people were stabbed during a fight in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at Looper's Plaza, located at South Avenue and Wolcott Avenue in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, the department received a 911 call regarding something happening at the plaza. The chief said that as officers responded, they located several people in South Avenue Park walking from the area toward West Center Street. One of those stopped, a 16-year-old male, was found to be bleeding.…
