Support is on the rise for a motorcyclist couple from Canada left with serious injuries after being struck by a DUI driver in Greene County, NY. As previously reported by Daily Voice, Craig "Hammer" Sutherland and Charity Hogan, were struck by Derik Wirhouski, 50, who police had said blew a stop sign on Route 23 in Catskill on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Long Island resident Daniel Coppola, age 50, of St. James, was arraigned on four counts of first-degree murder in Suffolk County Court on Friday, Sept. 6, in the deaths of his ex-wife Kelly Coppola and her boyfriend, Kenneth Pohlman. A 19-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash after he allegedly ran a red light in the region, striking another car.
