Masked Duo Steals Mercedes-Benz From Garage Of Long Island Home Two masked individuals stole a 2024 Mercedes G-Wagon from a Long Island home. The incident happened in Hewlett Bay Park early Wednesday, Nov. 6, after the duo breaking in through a rear window, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, Fourth Precinct officers responded to a burglary call at a residence on Woodside Drive around 3:40 a.m.  Police said the suspects used a pry bar to enter through a rear window, then took a key fob to the Mercedes, which they removed from the garage before fleeing in an unknown direction. Suspects Enter Occupied Long Island Home, Steal Keys, Then Cars In Driveway: Police Police are searching for a group of suspects who stole two cars from the driveway of a Long Island home after burglarizing the occupied residence. Three of the suspects entered the North Woodmere residence located on Jay Court through a rear door. just before 4 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, according to Nassau County Police.
