Man Takes Fatal Leap From Costco Parking Deck In Westchester
A 27-year-old man died after jumping from a Costco parking deck in Yonkers, police confirmed Sunday morning, Jan. 5. The man was found near the Home Depot by a maintenance worker just after 6 a.m., Yonkers Police Sgt. Robert Spink confirmed. The two businesses share a complex along Sprain Road. Sources say that the man is believed to have been a Costco employee, however, this information is subject to change pending the outcome of the investigation. Capital Region Tow Company Owner Charged With Stealing Cars From Parking Lots: AG Says
A Capital Region tow company owner has been charged with allegedly using his business to steal cars from parking lots and then sell them. John F. Rivers, age 43, of East Greenbush, was charged on Friday, Dec. 6, for using his towing company, Rivers Asset Recovery, to steal and sell vehicles towed from parking lots across the Capital Region, said New York Attorney General Letitia James. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Running Into 2 Police Cars After Home Depot Theft
A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly stealing from a Home Depot and then crashing into two police cruisers to escape before crashing. Orange County resident Clarence Hulzenga, age 48, of Highland, was arrested in the town of Newburgh on Wednesday, July 10 in Newburgh. According to Lt. Dennis Carpenter of the Newburgh Police, Hulzenga ran from the store after the theft to a pickup truck in the parking lot and, to get away, ran into a town of Newburgh and New York State Police cruisers.
