20-Year-Old Shot, Killed After Stabbing Person At Home In Region: Police A man was shot and killed after state police say he stabbed a person inside a home in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Saturday, Oct. 5 in the town of Pleasant Valley. Responding state police troopers and Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office deputies officers located one victim suffering from a stab wound and another the victim of gunfire at the residence on Rawls Road, located just west of the Taconic State Parkway. Suspect On Loose After Shots-Fired Incident Injures 3 In Hudson Valley Authorities are looking for whoever fired shots that injured three people in the Hudson Valley, including one person who is now in critical condition.  The incident happened in Orange County on Tuesday, July 16 just before 7 p.m., when several gunshots were fired at 31 City Terrace in the city of Newburgh, the city's police department announced on Thursday, July 18.
