Dunkin' Burglary Suspect In Region Nabbed After Crawling In Drive-Thru Window
A burglary suspect from the region was nabbed after he was caught on surveillance video crawling through a Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru window. Sullivan County resident Paul A. Ellis, age 38, of Monticello, was charged with burglary and petit larceny on Monday, Oct. 14. According to Monticello Police Lt. Mark Johnstone, an investigation into a Dunkin' burglary at 144 Jefferson St. in Monticello on Thursday, Oct. 10, found that Ellis forced his way through the drive-thru window when the business was closed. A New Jersey man has been charged after presenting falsified bank statements in a Hudson Valley court and testifying they were real, authorities said. James Wolff, 50, of Teaneck, NJ, was arraigned on Monday, Sept. 30, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh II announced on Thursday, Oct. 3. Man Busted In Broom Handle Attack During Incident In Region
A man was charged with allegedly assaulting a woman with a broom handle and his fist, causing a head injury, during a domestic dispute in the region. Ulster County resident Harry J. Krom, age 42, of Kerhonkson, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 25, on Two Path Road in Wawarsing. An investigation alleges that Krom repeatedly struck a 45-year-old woman with a broom handle and closed fist. A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty to operating as a major drug trafficker and faces years in prison. Orange County resident Antonio Bucci, age 29, of Chester, entered the plea on Tuesday, Sept. 10, according to Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler. Capital Region Woman Accused Of Stalking
A resident from the region has been accused of stalking. New York State Police in Columbia County from the Livingston barracks say an investigation determined Tara Tomlin, age 29, of Elizaville, contacted the past and current employer of the victim to make false allegations of drug use and inappropriate behavior. On Tuesday, June 25, Tomlin was charged with: Aggravated harassment in the second degree, Stalking in the fourth degree. Tomlin was arraigned before the city of Hudson Court and released on her own recognizance to reappear on Tuesday, July 2.
