New Arrest Made In Library Parking Lot Assault In Region
Two Hudson Valley men have been charged in connection with an assault.
The incident occurred in Orange County, in the municipal parking lot of the Newburgh Free Library, 124 Grand St., on Sunday, May 19.
According to City of Newburgh Chief of Staff Mike Neppl, detectives arrested Marcos Luna-Dedios, a 34-year-old City of Newburgh resident, on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
Last week, on Wednesday, Sept. 4, Yomar Carreras, age 24, of Newburgh, was the second person arrested in connection with the attack, Neppl said.

Capital Region Man Intentionally Crashed Car Into Woman, Breaking Her Leg: Police
A 29-year-old woman remained in a New York hospital Friday, Sept. 6, after a man drove his car into her, breaking her leg and causing internal injuries, authorities said.
Trevaughn Haggray, age 29, of Schenectady, is charged with assault in the first degree and attempted assault in the first degree, Albany police said.
The woman was walking in Albany's Westgate Plaza at 911 Central Ave. with a friend around 11:30 a.m. when Haggray plowed into her, police said. He swerved to hit her friend as well but missed.

Capital Region Teen Others Beat Victims With Baseball Bat For Jordan
A 19-year-old man and four others are accused of beating a father and son with baseball bats to steal their shoes at a Capital Region sports store over the weekend, authorities said.
Albany County resident Kyle H. Fowlkes, of Colonie, faces charges of robbery, two counts of assault, and possession of a weapon, Colonie police said. A judge ordered him held on a $10,000 cash bail.
