A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with an assault on a security guard at a Long Island bowling alley. The incident happened in Baldwin, at the Ultra Lanes on Grand Avenue, at around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, July 27. Nassau County Police said several customers became disruptive and were asked to leave when they began punching, kicking, and choking a security staffer. One person suffered severe injures in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened just before noon Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Oceanside. A 63-year-old man operating a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was involved in the collision with a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee being operated by a 58-year-old man, according to Nassau County Police. A New York man accused of murdering the mother of his child should’ve been locked up years ago, his own relatives insist. Long Island resident Brenda Guadalupe Alfaro-Alcantara, age 29, was found with multiple stab wounds in the basement of her Hempstead home on Botsford Street at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. 25-Year-Old Nabbed In Stabbing Of Man On Long Island
A suspect is behind bars following a stabbing attack on Long Island that sent a man to the hospital. The incident happened in Massapequa, near the intersection of Polo and Oxford roads, shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7. Nassau County Police said a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man got into an argument before the older man stabbed the victim in his torso and arm. He then fled the scene in an SUV. 21-Year-Old Nabbed After Breaking Into Long Island Home, Police Say
A 21-year-old man is accused of burglarizing a Long Island home. Nassau County Police were called about a break-in at an Inwood residence on Wahl Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2. When officers arrived, they found Wilber Sigaran fleeing the scene, police said. An officer caught up to Sigaran and deployed a TASER device in order to place him under arrest. Sigaran, of Inwood, is charged with assault and burglary. He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday, Oct. 3.

14-Year-Old Severely Injured In Sunrise Highway Crash
A teenage suffered critical injuries in an overnight Long Island crash. It happened on Friday, Oct. 4, at 9:40 p.m. in Merrick, according to Nassau County Police. A 41-year-old man operating a 2023 Ford pickup truck traveling westbound on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) was involved in a collision with a 14-year-old boy riding a bicycle northbound on Merrick Avenue. A quick-thinking Long Islander avoided falling victim to an alleged phone scammer. The 73-year-old Inwood woman contacted Nassau County Police on Wednesday morning, Oct, 2, saying a man had called her claiming to work for her bank’s fraud department. During the call, he told the woman there were fraudulent charges on her bank card and they would arrange for someone to pick up the card from her home.
