Search On For 4 Armed Home Invasion Suspects In Region Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for four suspects who forcefully invaded a Hudson Valley home with a gun, stealing jewelry and cash. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, the home invasion occurred at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, on Ross Lane in Wallkill. An investigation found that four suspects forcefully entered the victim’s residence. McLymore said one suspect pulled out a handgun, placing it in the back of the male victim while entering the home. 5 Capital Region Men Nabbed On Gun Charges, Police Say Five people were charged with allegedly having loaded weapons during a Hudson Valley traffic stop. The incident occurred in Orange County around 3:40 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, in Wallkill. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, the department, along with the New York State Police, performed a vehicle stop at Exit 116 on Route 17, which led to the arrest of five of the five suspects. A subsequent investigation resulted in the recovery of three loaded firearms, McLymore said. Those charged included: Capital Region resident Shawn A. Briggs, age 35, of Troy. …

Man From Region Shot On Town Street, Suspect On The Run, Police Say Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help after a man was found shot on a town street.  The incident occurred in Orange County at 11:55 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, at 76 Sandburg Court in Wallkill. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, responding officers found a 27-year-old Wallkill resident suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper left arm.  Wallkill Emergency Medical Services transported him to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown for treatment. Driver Critical Following 3-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash One person is in critical condition following a three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred in Orange County around 12:16 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, on Route 211 West in Wallkill. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, officers arrived to investigate the crash and found that one driver of a motorcycle was suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to Garnet Medical Center in Middletown and is listed in critical condition, McLymore said.
