2 People Shot During Disturbance In Region Two people received non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the Hudson Valley during an incident. The shooting took place in Orange County around 4 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, in the area of 182 Lander Street. According to Newburgh Chief of Staff Mike Neppl, responding officers located two victims who were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh with injuries that do not appear life-threatening. Man Hit, Killed Walking In Hudson Valley Auto Dealership Parking Lot A 41-year-old man was hit and killed while walking in an auto dealership parking lot by another man attempting to park. The incident occurred in Orange County on Monday, May 20, at Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Route 17K in the town of Newburgh. According to Newburgh Police, A 2024 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 68-year-old man was entering a parking space at the dealership when the vehicle suddenly accelerated, striking the pedestrian walking directly in front of the Jeep.
