Juvenile Nabbed For Making 'Non-Specific' School Threat In Region, Police Say
A juvenile was charged with allegedly making a threat of mass harm after the FBI alerted the New York State Police of a school threat made in the region on TikTok. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Wappinger. Trooper AJ Hicks said an investigation determined the "non-specific threat originated from the town of Wappinger. Investigators located and arrested the minor soon after, Hicks said. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Dutchess County Family Court. This is a developing story. Missing Woman Found Dead At Bottom Of Cliff In Region
A missing woman who had not been seen in a day was located by a New York State Police drone at the bottom of a Hudson Valley cliff. The incident occurred in Orange County around 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at the Hawk's Nest in Sparrow Bush. Have you seen him? A teenager has gone missing in the region and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. The New York State Police in Northern Westchester County are searching for Andy Salazar, age 17, from Four Winds Hospital in the Lewisboro hamlet of Cross River. He was last seen on Friday, Sept. 27 at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Route 35 by Four Winds staff. He was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. A bartender in the region was busted for allegedly increasing tip amounts on credit cards to increase her pay. Dutchess County resident Melissa Dinsmore, 33, of Wappinger, was charged by the New York State Police on Friday, Sept. 20.
