Suspect Nabbed In Stabbing Death At Popular Park In Region A 51-year-old is behind bars after being charged in connection with the stabbing death of another man in a popular park in the region. Dutchess County resident Shrone Wright of Poughkeepsie was charged on Wednesday, Nov. 13, for the Wednesday, Nov. 6 murder at Pershing Park.  The name of the victim has not been released. 2 Women Hospitalized After Crash Near Shopping Center In Region Two people were injured in a two-car crash in the region. The collision occurred in Dutchess County around 2:45 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, on Route 9 at the intersection of Galleria Drive near the AT&T store and Vitamin Shoppe in the Town of Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, a 2016 Honda sedan, driven by a Poughkeepsie woman, was heading northbound on Route 9 when it collided with a 2013 Audi sedan. Road Rage: Shots-Fired Incident Under Investigation In Region A road-rage confrontation on a busy highway led to the arrest of one man who allegedly fired shots at another car in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, on the Dutchess Turnpike near Degarmo Road in the town of Poughkeepsie. According to Capt. Ralph Cropley of the Poughkeepsie Police, an investigation found that a Dodge Ram and a Honda Accord were involved in the incident, and the driver of the Ram intentionally fired an illegally possessed handgun at the Accord, striking it and causing damage. Man From Region Nabbed For Attempted Murder In Stabbing Incident, A person residing in the region was nabbed for alleged attempted murder in a stabbing incident that seriously wounded another man. The attack occurred in Dutchess County at 1 a.m. Sunday, June 30, in the area of Smith and Mansion Streets in Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, on Thursday, Oct. 17, members of the Neighborhood Recovery Unit, Detective Bureau, and Patrol Division located and arrested Rushaan Francis, age 27, of Poughkeepsie, in connection with the June 30 stabbing.  Police said the 44-year-old victim was located suffering from multiple stab-slash wounds.&…
