Move over, Manhattan—New York’s Capital Region is getting its moment in the national spotlight!
A brand-new TV series, “Selling the 518,” is set to premiere on the Travel Channel. The show, hosted by Rebecca Cavalieri of Gabler Realty, will take viewers beyond real estate listings and into the heart of Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Saratoga Springs, and the surrounding areas.

Patient, 18, Assaults Hospital Employees In Capital Region, Police Say
An 18-year-old patient assaulted two employees at a Capital Region hospital, police said.
Saratoga County resident Isabelle Singley, of Burnt Hills, was arrested following an altercation at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs early Wednesday, March 12.
An investigation found that Singley struck two staff members at the hospital, causing injuries, at around 3 a.m., sheriff’s officials said. No other details about the incident were given.
Singley was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, both felonies. She was arraigned in the Saratoga Springs City Court and released on her own…

Restaurant Burglary Suspect Nabbed In Capital Region
A Capital Region man was nabbed for allegedly breaking into a restaurant, causing damage, and stealing money.
The incident occurred in Saratoga County at 11:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, on Maple Avenue in Greenville.
According to Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, an investigation determined that David Gregson, age 57, of Saratoga Springs, allegedly forced his way into the restaurant, causing damage to the building earlier in the evening. While inside, Gregson reportedly stole money and then fled on foot.

Capital Region Woman, 25, Killed After Car Rolls Over Several Times On NY Thruway

A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash after her car rolled multiple times on the Adirondack Northway.
The collision occurred in Saratoga County around 4:50 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, on the Northway north of the Exit 14 off-ramp in Saratoga Springs.
According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, the crash caused one of the vehicles to overturn and killed the driver, identified as Makenzie T. Minkler, age 25, of Rensselaer.
Minkler was transported for severe injuries but died shortly after at Saratoga Hospital, O'Neil said
