Decomposed Body Found Inside Capital Region Home; Suspect Accused Of Hiding Corpse
Police are investigating after a dead body was found inside a home in the region. Albany County Sheriff’s deputies made the shocking discovery at an Albany residence in the West Hill neighborhood, located on Sheridan Avenue near Henry Johnson Boulevard, on Thursday, July 11. Deputies obtained a search warrant for the home after learning of a possibly deceased individual inside. The suspect accused of killing a beloved Pittsfield and Greenfield man was returned to Massachusetts to face charges after being held in New York for more than two months. Cave Rescue: 20-Year-Old Pulled To Safety After 5-Hour Operation In Capital Region
A young explorer has some dedicated search and rescue crews to thank for pulling him to safety after he became trapped inside a popular cave in the region. The Albany County incident happened Sunday afternoon, June 30, in the town of New Scotland at the Clarksville Cave.
