Hospital Stabbings: ID Released For Patient Accused Of Attacking Capital Region Nurses
A patient accused of stabbing two nurses at a hospital in the region has been arrested a week after the attacks.
Scott Williams, age 60, of Hudson Falls in Washington County, was taken into custody Sunday, Oct. 8, on an open arrest warrant, according to Saratoga Springs Police.
Investigators said Williams is behind the attack that happened early Sunday, Oct. 1, at the Saratoga Hospital located in Saratoga Springs.

Patient Stabs 2 Nurses At Hospital In Capital Region, Police Say
Two nurses are recovering after a patient allegedly stabbed them at a hospital in the region.
The Saratoga County attack happened early Sunday, Oct. 1, in Saratoga Springs at the Saratoga Hospital.
According to sheriff’s officials, the suspect stabbed both employees, leaving them with visible injuries. The wounds were not considered life threatening.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the incident.
Deputies did not reveal the suspect’s name, age, or gender, but said they will face criminal charges.
