1 Dead, 2 Hospitalized After Gas Leak At Home ln Region A 66-year-old man died, and two others were hospitalized after a suspected gas leak at a home in the region.  The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, in Wurtsboro. Worker Critical After 40-Foot Fall Through Skylight At Hudson Valley School A construction worker is in critical condition after falling some 40 feet through a skylight at a Hudson Valley middle school. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 2 at the Union Vale Middle School in Lagrangeville.  According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, the man was working on the skylight when he fell. Motorcyclist Driving In 'Unsafe Manner' Injured After Crashing In Hudson Valley, Police Say A 56-year-old motorcyclist from the Hudson Valley was driving “in an unsafe manner” when he lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle, authorities said. The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office said the Highland resident was operating his bike on Vineyard Avenue in the Town of Lloyd when he wrecked just after midnight Tuesday, July 12. Deputies found the man lying on a sidewalk. A preliminary investigation found that he had crashed into the hood and windshield of the parked vehicle before he was ejected from his bike, police said.
