Gun Violence Threat Leads To Postponement Of Homecoming HS Football Game In Hudson Valley A homecoming high school football game in the region was postponed because of a threat of gun violence. The threat was received several hours before the varsity contest in Dutchess County between rivals John Jay of East Fishkill and host Roy C. Ketcham in Wappingers Falls was scheduled to start Friday night, Oct. 20. The threat was reported to the Ketcham High School Building Administration at approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday which "necessitated the postponement" of the game, "as well as the quick and safe evacuation of the entire Roy C. 'Concerning' Interactions Between Person, Students At Hudson Valley HS Being Investigated School officials in the Hudson Valley are warning of "concerning" interactions between an individual and students off-campus of a high school.  The "incidents" have been taking place in Dutchess County outside of John Jay High School in East Fishkill, said Dr. Dwight Bonk, the superintendent of the Wappingers Central School District.
