Person Jumps From Bear Mountain Bridge, Divers On Scene: Police New York State Police said a person jumped from the Bear Mountain Bridge has not been located.  The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 28, near Stony Point in Rockland County. State Police said divers were on the scene searching for the victim but did not divulge if the person was a man or a woman. Joseph S. Salazar, age 26, of the Bronx, was arrested on Wednesday, June 28, for the incident which took place in Rockland County in the town of Stony Point on Sunday, May 28. Orange County resident Anthony Apostolico, age 48, of Chester, died on Sunday, June 19, when a tree fell on top of a pickup truck that he was a passenger in.  Police said the accident happened in Rockland County on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Stony Point.
