6 Cows On Run After Tractor-Trailer Hauling Cattle Crashes In Region Six cows are on the loose tafter a trailer hauling cattle crashed, dumping 15 cows onto a busy highway.  The incident occurred in Orange County at 6:15 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, at the intersection of I-84 and Route 6 in Deerpark. Putnam County resident James Gilchrist, of Mahopac, claimed a $1 million top prize playing a Multiplier Money scratch-off game, New York Lottery announced. After paying Uncle Sam, he took home a not-too-shabby lump sum totaling $546,840. Gilchrist bought the incredibly lucky ticket in Mahopac, at the Route 6 Deli located at 1100 Route 6.
