Hudson Valley Man Charged With Stealing Gas After Fleeing Cops, Crashing A man was charged with allegedly stealing gas and then fleeing from police and crashing his vehicle in the region. The incident took place in Ulster County around 8:40 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 9 in the town of Hurly. According to Sgt. Collin Reynolds of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, William Williams, age 65, of Highland, was arrested after deputies attempted to stop him and he sped away at a high rate of speed before crashing into a wooded area in the town of Rosendale. 28-Year-Old Accused Of Killing Father In Hudson Valley Hamlet A man was apprehended after killing his father in a Hudson Valley hamlet, according to authorities. At about 1:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, multiple agencies in Ulster County responded to a Town of Rosendale residence on Springtown Road in the hamlet of Tillson after a 911 call was made for an unresponsive man. Woman Dies After Being Pulled From Lake In Hudson Valley A woman died after being pulled from a lake in the Hudson Valley, according to authorities. At about 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18 authorities in Ulster County were dispatched to Williams Lake, in the Town of Rosendale for a water emergency. Upon arrival, the responding units found that Carol Smith, from New York City, had been visiting friends locally and had gone underwater while swimming and not resurfaced, according to the Rosendale Police Department. The film, "Lost On A Mountain In Maine," is looking for men between the ages of 18 to 50 years old to star as park rangers, National Guardsmen, woodsmen, and search party members.
